Schools & settings

We have been actively involved with the development and provision of Forest School and Outdoor learning in schools and settings across Herefordshire and further afield for over a decade. Both Forest School and Outdoor Learning benefit children in a wealth of ways including increased self-esteem, confidence, social skills and specific curriculum links. Schools vary in their needs and priorities when it comes to their Outdoor Learning provision and Rooted offers a range of options to suit all settings. We work with children of all ages and specialise in mobile provision, accessing woodlands near to you, keeping transport costs to a minimum. 

Families

We often appear at local events and festivals to offer families a taster of woodland fun! Find us regularly at Hay Festival, Green Man, Community, Starry Skies and more!

We can also be hired for private parties so if you’ve got something coming up and you’d like us to get involved, contact us for a quote!
